Guess what the little monkey did now!!!

Picture this! Tea time in our house tonight! I slaved over a hot stove:lol: and made Logan Macaroni Cheese. Offered said Logan the macaroni cheese but he first of all spat it out and then kept hitting the spoon away rufusing it point blank:angry:

So, I did him some of the pasta in tomato sauce. Same scenario:angry:

Not wanting him to go to bed hungry I gave in and got one of his fave jars out of the cupboard and tried to give him that. No go:angry:. Screaming and whining.

So, I decide thats it. Nothing else. He's now chucking a tantrum and I take him out of his highchair and through to the living room.

Once he'd calmed down OH brought him back into the kitchen and I said to try him again with the Macaroni Cheese. No go:angry: Wouldn't even entertain it!

THEN.....

OH was getting p'd off with the tantrum and put the bowl and spoon down in front of Logan.

Logan picked up the spoon and happily fed himself the macaroni cheese:shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :angry: :angry: :angry:

By the way this is a child who has only tried self feeding briefly once or twice:shock:

God that's fab! There's NO WAY Niamh would be able to do that yet! Whenever I give her a spoon she just wafts it around all over the place - no chance of any food getting in her mouth!
