Since he was about 5 months old Ethan has slept from approx 7.30pm to 8.15am, which has been great for us as we don’t get up till about 7.45am!
However the last 2 weeks he has only been sleeping until about 6.45ish, which is an hour and a half less! :puzzled:His nap has remained the same, about 11am for 1-2 hours.
Just wondering if this is normal?? I need that extra hours sleep back!

I think you've just been lucky, Leah. Maybe you'll have to get used to normal life now like the rest of us!
Seriously, I don't know. Niamh's sleep patterns have been all over the place for the past few months, and especially since we went on holiday, but fingers crossed for the last 4 nights she's gone down without a fight and hasn't woken in the night. Maybe it's just the light mornings - does he have a blackout blind in his room?

I agree, I think you've had it far too easy and now he's going to give you all the sleepless nights you've never had :teehee:
On a more constuctive note, maybe you might want to try making his nap a bit shorter, and see if he sleeps longer at night?

I thought these would be the kind of replies I got:teehee:
I will try shortening his nap, if that doesn't work then I need to go to bed earlier!
We haven't got a blackout blind in his room but it is pretty dark in the mornngs as it doesn't get any sun until late afternoon. Might be worth a try though!
BJ - How are you coping with 2?! I keep saying to my OH there is no way I oculd cope with a newborn now, Ethan is hard work, I should look like Kate Moss by now, the amount of running around after him I do!
Has anyone 'seen' Smurf? I was just wondering how her pregnancy was going?
