... a Loola. Yes, I know it's another buggy thread

I only realised these were available after we'd bought our pramette. Jess is constantly craning her neck to look up at me when she's in the buggy. DH has agreed we can get a new stroller to go on holiday (not till the end of the year). The trouble is, I think it will be bought much before then

I realiser a Loola isn't quite the same as a small stroller, but I REALLY want one.

Loola owners, AG? please help me convince DH we need one of these soon!

:laff:

I've only just started using the seat bit on ours, i just used to clip her carseat on as I just tend to go for short visits to the shops/school. It is ok lifting the wheels but when the seat unit it on it is heavy!! I unclip the top bit and fold the wheels seperately as I can't manage. I do like it otherwise though.

I had an email through about some pushchairs I'd never heard of the other day. I'll start a new thread on them.

Thanks AG!

What do you mean about the wheels though??

A new pushchair thread would be good!

The seat unit clips onto the wheels

and it can be folded with the seat unit on but I find it too hard so I take the seat off every time I put it in the car.

Shamefully I've been looking at new buggies this weekend  We have a M&P Freestyler and a Maclaren Quest but I have my eye on some of the Quinny buggies. DH is adamant we don't need any more - but I might persuade him if we ever have any more kids :teehee:

I do really like my loola but it is really heavy with the seat unit on. If you really need something lightweight I'd advise against it, I've really hurt my back a couple of times hoicking it up flights of stairs. They are very nice looking though ;).

The auction doesn't end till tonight, and I've not checked it yet. It's a brand new one, so I'm sure it will go for more than I'm willing to pay

I don't mind a 2nd hand one as long as it's in good nick.

AG - I see what you mean now, thanks :)

HH - this is what I'm worried about. But i'm sure the freestyler that we've got is 8.7kg and it doesn't feel so heavy..anyway..minor point..DH can lug it about!

I want a Loola too. I bought a Graco travel system which I really dislike and wish I had bought a Loola. I am getting a Maclaren Quest next month for when we go on holiday etc.

I sometimes wish we could test drive buggiesfor a few weeks and then take them back. I'm sure I would find something to dislike in every one of them! Would save a hell of a lot of money too!

I second that. I really wish I had made a better choice

Ohh I love my Loola we are still using the carrycot bit but plan on using the seat bit on Friday when we are out all day so Jack can see whats going on. They do some really nice colours now too that why we picked it over a M&P pramette. I would loved to have had a pink one.

Bum

I went into Mothercare after work and now I'm not sure if I like it as much. It's bloody heavy for a start.

My main reason for wanting one is so Jess can face me.
