I went out and bought a test on saturday, thinking that it was 15DPO and that there might be a chance. Anyway, pointless, before I even got home from the shops, the wicked witch reared her ugly head!

Dh is really upset, he dreamt we were having twins.

I think it is about time I started charting properly and taking my temps in the morning. Might get more of an idea what is happening, though the getting EWCM on CD48 meant that I knew roughly when to expect af.

I have been taking Agnus Castus in capsule form since sept, do you think I should try something else? I think if anything, my cycles are getting longer (gone from 28 days to 32, 52, 63)

What would I try? I am going to start on acupuncture aswell, just need to start planning that in properly. And see how much it will cost!

oh sorry to hear that helcatt, I was reading your other thread and you must be so confused

Before having Dylan my cycles were really long too, between 35 and 42 days. The month I conceived I was taking Agnus Castus too, but I don't know if it had any influence. Funnily enough, in the last few months my cycle has gotten much shorter, about 28-32 days-ish.....I've no idea why!

I think charting would be the best way to go for you - because it will be very difficult to determine when you will be ovulating with such a long cycle. I also charted the month I conceived, and totally believe that I wouldn't have conceived so quickly without doing that.

good luck!!

Sorry sweetie.

Many people find the Deanna plan works http://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm but it depends if you want to get that deep into it.

With regard to supplements - I used to also use a homeopathic remedy Sepia which is meant to help irregular cycles. Another supplement worth taking (by both of you) is Zinc - it helps mens little swimmers and also if there is a shortage of zinc in can affect successful implantation of the fertilized egg in the womb. Vitamin E and C are both good vitamins to help with Fertility.

Another alternative to Acupunture is Reflexology. I was going to start this to help settle my cycles but then I got pregnant so never got the chance to give it a go.

I've had irregular cycles recently too and it's so annoying as you just never know when you're going to ov :hugs: to you.

My last 2 have been 60 and 55 days but I think I've just oved on CD21 ! I'm looking into reflexology too but hadn't thought about acupuncture.

As for supplements DH and I both take Vit C and zinc and I take EPO and a high dose b-50 supplement from H&B.

Best of luck and so sorry to hear the old witch turned up.

:-( Sorry to hear that Helcatt. I know on my first month trying for Paige I went out to buy a test and came on on the way home. I was gutted.

Wishing you lots of luck for next month.

Thanks for all the hugs ladies, much appreciated!

So we have a suggestion for Sepia - what does that do?

I had forgeotten about EPO, have loads in the cupboard, already take zinc - well, multy minerals really, as that is supposed to help with the thyroid problem.

Reflexology might be the way to go rather than acupuncture then?

So sorry to hear it's not been your month Hellcatt. Sepia promotes ovulation I believe and reflexology in the right area (by your ankle) stimulates the pituitary gland which regulates your cycle. I went for two treatments and they were just soooo relaxing.

Good luck XX

Sepia is meant to balance your hormones, so if you have irregular or long cycles etc it is meant to help with these.

Hi Helcat, sorry to hear AF turned up but at least you didn't waste the test.

I had several sessions of acupuncture in november & december last year and got my BFP at the beginning of January. It might be a coincidence, or a combination of the acupuncture and the PCOS medication I was on but who can say?

Best of luck whatever option you choose
