Does anyone else have a really boisterous boy?
How do you find it/deal with it?
I'm not necessarily saying its a bad thing but Logan is just a bit "unpredictable" he just wants to dart off here there and everywhere and climb up everything and see what everything does when its pushed/pulled/whacked:lol:
He's just VERY VERY active ALL the time!
I was reading the thread about when you would be ditching the buggy for walking round shops etc. and i just thought "crikey i can never imagine walking round the shops with logan walking too" :brainache: it would be chaos!:zombie:

Alfie is Boisterous and i was one of those that ditched the buggy at 16 months & it has been very hard although not so much now or since he hit about 2.5

Robbie is very boisterous and it came as a complete shock as Blair isn't really like that . Robbie continually climbs on things to get where he wants to be and my heart is in my mouth on a lot of occasions  .
I have already been at A&E with him after he bit his tougue  , scary thing being he doesn't turn 2 until December :faint: .
God help me so I have loads of sympathy hun :higgies: . Lets hope they learn to calm down a little.
Mine is a grade one full-speed-ahead nutter, so I can sympathise  I forsee many trips to A+E in the coming years :sigh:
Catherine seems to be going the same way though :scared: so there's obviously something amiss in nature or nurture :teehee:

Although he's not even 2 yet, I can definitely join the 'mum of boisterious boys' group  There is NO WAY I could take Harry out shopping without the buggy  He is dreadful at holding my hand & walking nicely as he doesn't really do walking at all - it's either running or nothing with him . He climbs on everything (chairs/tables/radiators/window ledges :faint:) and I now completely understand when I hear other mums saying that boys are like dogs (need a couple of good walks a day:wink:) .
TBH, this is the only way I know so I just get on with it and most of the time it doesn't bother me although it can be exhausing and if it's peeing it down & I'm feelinga grotty I do wish he'd be a bit happier staying indoors reding/drawing (for more than 10 seconds I mean ) .

I feel your pain as I have TWO of them doing this.
As for ditching the buggy, well Dylan doesn't like to walk the length of himself so I may have him in his buggy until he is about 10 and Kane will be pushing it as he loves walking
Particularly in his own direction at his own speed.
I have a stairgate in the house so that Kane won't fall downstairs and Dylan just climbs over the top of it when he wants downstairs.
They climb up on everything and I have no where to hide the sweeties now as Dylan goes and helps himself and gets share for Kane as well.
I have no idea when it will end but I fear it won't be until the become teenagers and get to lazy to do anything.

 Dylan sounds SOOOOO much like Logi!
Oh and they both love saying Taaa-Daaaa when they have done some death defying stunt or slick climbing trick.
I swear my heart is in my mouth a lot of the time

I au paired for two girls and cannot believe how different it is raising a boy - they are so rough and tumble. Even at a year old Alex wants to climb on everything, run everywhere, throws everything - it's exhausting.
eta - while exhausting it can be lots of fun too
