Well last weekend we saw MIL (not happy about it but it was sort of sprung upon us...) anyway, she asked us what we would like for Ben's Christmas present - honestly the woman is mad.
I told her I'd think about it and let her know in November - she's nuts! :loco:
anyway yes i know its kind of her to ask i just thought FFS woman it's JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe she needs time to save up or wants to plan early so that she can have some money for herself around christmas time. I don't really think it's that unreasonable...

true, Sapphire - i'm saving and budgeting for christmas, like i do every year. I wouldnt dream of asking for hints 6 months in advance tho.
Ach well i still think she's mad as a fish, and i refuse to think about Christmas until at least the weather gets colder!

We already know what we're going to buy Hettie for her b-day and that's in September (in fact I would have bought it yesterday but they didn't have it in stock)

I'm not sure it's that bonkers at all (I'm certainly already thinking about it and definitely know what I want for Christmas :teehee: )

LOL - me too - I want an iPod by the way OH if you are reading this!

But I do think it is a trifle bonkers to be asking other people what they want! After all you can still save X amount without actually knowing exactly what you are going to spend it on.
