Just curious - does anyone vaguely medical have a clue what causes them?
I have had them in all the usual places such as pelvis, womb, vulva :laff: etc. but now I'm having them in the side of my right ribs :puzzled:
not a moan, it's hardly anything pain wise, just curious!

I aint no Doctor, but I would imagine it's to do with hormones being released to make everything more stretchy. I remember my early stages; parts of my body twinge and stretch that I didn't even know existed

FA that makes a lot of sense!
DC, I just had some choc digestives and a big mug of cold milk :lurve:
On the whole though I am craving brightly coloured fruit and veg - long may THAT last!

Actually me too - made a lovely veggie pasta dish last night with lots of peppers and courgettes and have scoffed a big bag of red grapes this morning...

I've been having the odd twinge as well :puzzled: I am sure its just our body preparing itself

I think it is your body releasing hormones to make your ligaments stretch in readiness for your growing bubs.

Why are hormones so stabby then? :teehee:

Because all hormones are basically evil and are either stabby or make you do mad things and cry at the drop of a hat.

I felt like I was going to fall apart in the first few weeks this time, I was so rickety  Who know what the pains are, but if you think about how much is changing in there and the speed in which it is happeneing, it is not surprising we feel a few stabbing pains and stretches

Same here, throughout, it's just relaxin being released and the usual growing pains. Since my uterus contains several fibroids, I've been having assorted stabs down there, as well
