Jess has been screaming in bed for over an hour now. She is usually good at going to bed, always gone down awake with little fuss. But a couple of times this week, we've had screaming, although tonight is the worst. She has had a cold this week, but seemed much better today.
The only thing I can think of that's causing this is the lighter nights. She does have a blackout blind but her room doesn't seem that dark.
Anyone else experienced this? How long can she keep it up?
Help :-(

Are you sure she's not hungry? That used to be what kept DD up.
Anyway, if it's been an hour, even if she's not crying because she's hungry then some milk might calm her down.
ETA: Sometimes DD just wanted company, so I would pour myself a drink and sit on the floor in the dark in her room until she dropped off and I could creep out.

Not usually, no. Just tried her with another bottle and she spent ten minutes playing with the teat and drank about 1/3 of an ounce  .
She's calmed down now, so back in the cot she's gone. She's making noises but not screaming so fingers crossed she'll sleep soon.

Del is more difficult to settle now she can stand. She thinks she can spend all her time chewing the bar of the cot. Then gets upset when she'd too tired.
Has she settled down now?

Yeah, thankfully.
I think she'd wound herself up so much that there was no way she'd calm on her own.
Oh I do hoe this isn't a sign of things to come...
