OMG, my heart nearly stopped then! Was merrily typing on here, Adam playing with CDs at my feet and Laura in the loo doing a poo....next thing I know I hear the door click and realise she's only slid the bolt across. Now, she has done this before but always slid it open again straight away, no harm done, and each time I've warned her and said not to, because she might not be able to open it again and would get stuck. Anyway, I shouted 'don't lock the door' and next thing I know she's crying hysterically, banging away at the door...yep, she couldn't undo it  :faint: Now bare in mind we're upstairs, and the window to the toilet is about the size of an A4 sheet of paper. Not good.

Stuck Adam in his cot so at least I didn't have to worry about him for a bit, and felt how solid the door was and contemplated how long it might take to kick it in :brainache: Laura still crying, but asked her to keep trying the door just incase, and on about the 5th attempt she managed it :phew: Much hugging and relief all round, Adam now released from his cot again, and she's assuring me she will NEVER lock it again

We took the lock off our bathroom door after a similar incident, and it's still off, even though Bella insists on locking toilet doors when we are out and about.....
Scary, isn't it?!?

I know. I would remove the locks but R would DIE if there was the risk of anyone walking (or crawling!) in on him on the loo   Might suggest we move them to about 5ft up though

ETA what time is the big moment tomorrow - want to think of you all at the moment (sad moo that I am   ) See you tomorrow night :cheer2:

Hope she's OK, scary though isn't it.

Ellie did it to me in Sainsbury's and luckily there was another lady in there who fetched someone to let her out
