When or did you start wearing normal bras again? Have yo carried on weraing nursing bras or switched back to underwired ones?

My boobs are too big to go in a proper nursing bra (or ones that I have found) so I have been wearing a sports bra but I really want to start wearing normal bras again, does it affect your milk at all? I have worn normal bras for short periods if I am going out but I am just so fed up with the sprts bras and I feel not very sexy in them!

I'm with you on that one! I wear cotton nursing bras and they are starting to get a bit worn out. I just can't see how I'd manage to feed in a normal bra though.

I stopped wearing them as soon as I stopped leaking and she stopped feeding every two hours  I wear normal underwire ones and a nursing bra at night. I just yank it up or flop my boob out the top IYSWIM.... Can't stand those flimsy cotton things.

I've never had trouble with blocked ducts etc. I think you just need to be careful that it fits properly.

I still haven't stopped leaking  Costing a fortune in boob pads

How annoying... I was like that with my first. This time - hardly anything. I've got a spare box, shame shipping would be horrendous from here :laff:

I am still in a nursing bra, but I haven't found a problem with getting one to fit me (and I am in a 38K at the moment :faint: ). I am going to invest in a nice bra to wear when going out though, as I am fed up with my nursing bras. Maisie doesn't often need feeding at night anymore, so in theory I could wear normal bras then.

I just cannot wait not to have to wear a bra at night any more! I'm like a bloomin fountain by the time Ells wakes in the morning, it's grim! But like August Girl, I don't think I could feed long-term wearing just a normal bra. I've tried it and it means (yes, little pink piglet) floppin 'em out, which isn't pretty...

I bf up to 18 months, but switched back to an underwired bra at 12 months.

By 10 months I was feeding her just evening and night (back at work) and wore normal bras (underwired) no problems. I have bought underwired nursing bras this time from Blooming Marvellous - you could check what size they go up to.
