Hello, just wondering if anyone is a member.

I am going to look at one tonight and I would like any real feedback.

It is probably going to be to expensive but it does have a creche, which could mean going and putting Ellis in their for a while. I know that sounds bad, but with DH working 2-10 I am unable to do things in the evening without shipping Ellis out.

Thanks in advance :cheer2:

i used to go to the one in new southgate, it was quite nice but brand new then so might have deteriorated a bit since then.

Is it the one in Cwmbran?? I used to be a member there and found the staff absolutley fabulous, great machines, never had to weight around HOWEVER, I left because I was going in to the changing rooms sometimes and they were dirty and absolutley stunk of raw sewerage!!!!! Plus, it started to get that the jacquizzi or hydro pool were out of order on regular occassions etc and classes were cancelled 5 minutes before they were due to begin which pissed me off no end!! also some of the headsets on the machines stopped working

I just joined JJB (Over where Big W) is and it's REALLY REALLY good!! It's cheap as well (£25 a month I pay) and it has a pool, loads of classes, a lovley cafe, joining fee of £25 too which is cheaper than esporta, some machines have their own tv's built into them, the treadmills have a personal air conditioning function which is lovley. Stunning steam room, 2 jacquzzis the lot and lots of machines!!

I reccomend you take a look at a few gyms before making your mind up and deffo check out the JJB one

Thanks Sapphire.

My BIL is a member of that gym, well was.

I wish all gyms had creches as it would make life so much easier for us mothers.

I have not been to the gym for years, well ever since Ellis came along, but I would love to get back into it and go to classes etc.

to be honest they may have cleaned up there act but i just got really disappointed as I really enjoyed going there and the staff are so nice that they dont make you feel stupid for asking a question etc

hope you like it

i dont think JJB has a creche which is a shame cos they got LOADS of classes which you'd have liked!
