How do I switch off my signature?

We used to be able to just tick a little box below the one you write your post in, but that's disappeared now. Are there any plans to bring it back?

It's just that I like to leave my ticker on when I'm on the Parenting boards and switch it off on others, but at the moment I can't do that - or am I missing something?

yep sorry had to try it to see if it worked but the box is still there as far as i can see anyway in both quick reply and advanced replys.

I can see it in the quick reply box but not in the normal one.

when in the normal reply box scroll down quite away its there somewhere.

I've scrolled down to the bottom and there's nothing there. There's the section about posting icons, then 2 buttons: Submit reply and Preview Post. No box for switching off signature down there.:no: I wonder if it's something I need to do with my settings? I'll go and see what I can see....

I also would like to know how to select not to show my signature on some posts (it is easy to select on Quick Reply) but I don't know how to do it via Post Reply.

Sorry no, I just always use the Quick Reply box now.:-(

go right past the sumit button and you have addtional options box the box to untick is just under there hope that works.

No miss.understood, it's DEFINITELY not there! Not on my pc anyway. I wonder if it's in the profile thingy somewhere? Weird that some people can see it but others can't?

All I've got is the box to type in, a post icons bit, the Submit Reply and Preview Post buttons, all the previous posts, and then a box called Posting Rules (and it's not in there!).

Diddlum I know what you mean, the boxes aren't aligned properly (reply box) and topic review, so when you first open the post reply page and it's still loading, you will see a glimpse of the show signature tick box but then it files down and disappears beneath the topic review box. I'm not sure how to solve tht

arrrr now i am in a IE i cant see the box to switch on and off signatures but when i am in firefox its there much confussed i am now. in firefox i get a whole load more options and all kinds of things that you cant see in IE. lemme restart my pc and post in firefox and tell you what i see.

now i am back in foxy and i have a whole section that is not there in IE it is called adtional options and has 3 other options remove signature, smileys and parse links in text, i dunno, and then underneath that i also have thread subscriptions, so a whole section is missing when not in foxy :brainache: maybe summit to sort with damz or try using firefox or i am plain bonkers and trying to help too much :loco: lol i cant do screen shots dunno how or i would show you what i see in my window, :huh: sorry not much more help then that.

You're right. It's not there in the advanced box.... it's disappeared recently. I use IE too.
