View Full Version : Help cleaning limescale off granite
Anyone know how you are supposed to do this? Have removed the limescale off my tap - but round it on the granite worktop is scaly too -and don't want to damage it.
Thanks in advance
Az
Don't know what proper products there are to do it, but have you tried soaking the surface with white vinegar? It cleans taps, kettles etc much better than cleaning products, imo, and is non-abrasive. So it shouldn't damage your work tops
To clean the bit round the bottom of the taps I soak cotton wool with vinegar and squash it round the edges. Then I leave it for a couple of hours and the limescale comes off nicely.
