My friend always used to carry hers around with her, "just in case" anything happened.

I never did with Eliza (they were HUGE!!) but this time round they are smaller and I am thinking "OK what it??"

Does anyone carry them with them??

I'm not going to carry them around every day but like when I go to Cornwall in July I'll be taking them with me just in case.

I'm lucky if I remember to take them to the MW appointments with me most days!

No but really I should because when we're at OH's house, its 42 miles to get to "my" hospital. I do remember them for my checkups though. The books so big and heavy though!

I only carried them when I went out of the area, and then only from when I was about 35 weeks onwards.

Although, they do say you should carry them around.

I did carry mine around when I was pregnant and took a photocopy on holiday, which was just as well as I ended up in hospital in Cyprus!

I think as the due date gets closer I'll keep them with me incase anything happens. My midwife's never told me to carry them on me though.

I carried a photocopy of my notes in my handbag, mainly because I'm Rhesus neg.

My actual notes never went to hospital though, because neither did !! :laff:

I took my notes up to York for my conference this week.
Other than that, only take them to appointments, though thinking about it should probably carry them when shopping etc as if I did a "Smiley" (waters broke in M&S) I could end up in a hospital other than the one I've booked at......

I took mine on holiday to cornwall and when we went to France when I was 32 weeks. One of the bottles of wine smashed on the way back so I was the only person with maternity notes soaked in red wone  :ellie: Told the hospital EVERYTHING they needed to know about me :laff:
