Hi

I thought about making the move fun for the boys ........ i am up to my eyeballs with everything that I need to do, not helped by the fact that we will be moving around for 6 weeks between homes :zombie:

ANYWAY, I thought I'd do a memory box for the boys for their 1st home.

I have a plain brown box, and was going to put a piccie of a London bus and taxi on it.

Wht should I put in it?

Here is what I thought of:

A piece of our headed paper
A map from mulitmap of the area
A photo of the boys outside the fla
A piece of their curtains (well, a sample piece of the fabric)

What else should I put in??

Pictures of them doing normal things - we went to the Lowry the other day to the Myth of the North exhibition and they pointed out that people don't take pictures of normal things, things that take place in the bathroom*/kitchen/living room. They might not remember what the rooms were like when they are older.

*OK perhaps you don't want all of them, but maybe babies being bathed!

Any signs on their bedroom doors?

I did some video today of J showing me around the flat. He pointed out the important parts inluding the fridge, biscuit tin, hoover and my knicker drawer

The signs on the door are a good idea.

And I will do some photos of them doing normal things in the next few days before we pack up.

Thanks for the ideas ..... still happy to hear any more...
