I am sooo :bwahaha: :hissyfit:
Basically we were disconnected on Tuesday after some @rsehole pulled our meter off the wall, causing a gas leak. They came and made it safe and then buggered off, without telling me what was happening. I called Transco about 10 times yesterday and they kept saying an engineer was on his way. At 630 THREE fecking engineers turned up  but they said they were only here to restart the gas for the other properties, as our meter needed refitting and a new pipe would have to be fitted too and they can't do that  . So I asked when that person would be here to be told it only happens from 9-5 :hissyfit:  Even the engineers couldn't understand why noone had come during the day  :sigh:
I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall - we are all smelly, miserable, fed up and every time I call someone they claim not to know what we're talking about. How the feck can someone come and disconnect your supply and not make sure that they've arranged for it to be repaired????? FECKERS!!!! I keep telling them I have a newborn and can't even wash up but they don't care  I'm going to write a very very stern letter DEMANDING compensation......
I was told to stay in yesterday as they'd need access to the house to check and purge the system and so I've been cooped up here since getting back from the HV yesterday morning. And am facing another day of needlessly staying in no doubt  Thankfully the childminder offered to take James - may have to ask her to shove him in her bath as he's filthy

Well, feel a bit better for my rant....

Oh mate - nightmare. You couldn't make it up could you? Hope you can grab a nice shower/bath round a friend's at least - if not get thee to Twickers - I have 2 bathrooms to choose from and even hot water. I would be inclined to go down the office and do a sit in until they came - preferably at Beatrix's most-likely-to-whinge time. Rant some more if you want - I ain't going anywhere today!

Oh shamu I'm sorry it's not been sorted yet! We had our gas meter changed at the time when Liam was born but, without going into too many boring details, they changed the wrong fecking meter and we were left without hot water. So I know it's no fun with a newborn :sigh: . We did get (a little)compensation after it was sorted though.

:spank: to the gas company for not sorting it yet and  at the @rsehole who ripped the damn thing off the wall in the first place.

I know but it is a bathroom of quality of course! Best call in those favours though - enjoy the novelty of sitting - I know I am!!!! I probably should tidy/organise my house but I am desperately lacking motivation to do anything!

Well, I can also offer bathrooms, and can beat that Azana into the goal: six toilets and five bathrooms for your bathing pleasure!! :laff:

Hope you get it sorted out, the situation is completely :loco: mad. Poor you!

Well, we're facing another night with no gas
They've promised they'll be here first thing in the morning but I'll believe that when I see it
I'm just so fed up - we've had to stay in as they need access and will have to stay in again tomorrow. James is going to go mad  Mind you, no one would want us anywhere near them - we must all smell

:hugs: (Luckily my hayfever has pretty well blocked my nose up so can't smell you).
I truly hope you get surprised and that they are there first thing.
