Any black eye cures?

My wee sweetheart got hit by a toy in an accident at nursery yesterday... someone was swinging a hard farm animal around and hit her just above the cheekbone, so she's cut and below her eye is all swollen with bruising coming :-(

(Sadly, it just occured to me that someone might thing I'd hit her :-( )

Anyhoo... suggestions for something that might help would be much appreciated. There are 2 small cuts, mostly bruising and swelling.

ouch! all I would suggest is arnica to speed the healing up x

No help but olivia has a corker of a black eye today too

I had a black eye and arnica didn't do a blind bit of difference.

I also tried rolling a hard boiled egg on it r- ead this on t'internet - I wasn't sure if I was supposed to peel the egg or not, so I tried both, neither made any more difference than the arnica :lol:
