There is that oreilly, they are normally too busy gasbagging at their nurses station at 2am to bring milk. Be prepared though, as they will ask you lots of questions about how much LO is taking etc

This time around I was 100% that I wanted to FF and when they asked me after the birth was I breastfeeding, I just said no and they never pushed it, just said which formula do you want, and went off to get some.

The MW I am seeing here for check ups didn't push it when I said I was going to FF, I simply said I didn't want to and she said fair enough.

They were so pushy and aggressive in the neonatal unit last time, I guess I have assumed it would be the same level of pressure this time. I remember the BF counsellor on the unit being really angry when she found out that I'd not tried to express any milk overnight after c was born (TBH I was so distressed after c had been admitted that the MW had left me alone and rightly so). I had just been allowed to hold c, had been waiting all day for them to say I could take her out of the incubator, and this crazy woman tried to physically take her off me and shouted at me that I had to go and get a pump and express.

Its a relief to know it might be easier to say no this time round

I think perhaps when they know you are a 2nd time mum they don't push you so hard and also as a 2nd time mum you definately feel more comfortable telling them to bog off! Hopefully you will be fine.
