... My flat finally feels like my home and not just somewhere to live!!! :ellie: :ellie:

I was just sat in my kitchen and looking around and finally felt settled and at home! Everywhere else I have ever lived never felt like home because they were either army married quarters or private rented and my mums (where I grew up) was the only place that felt like home! But now I feel so comfortable here already
Just wanted to share that with you all! :ellie:

Yeah its a fab feeling! I feel so much more relaxed and seem to be stressing less about other things (like my damn car) I know I wont be here for long as I will have to move somewhere bigger in a few years but it feels good to be settled at last, especially after the start to the year!

I dont even care that there is still things to do...

Also I dont care that I dont know anyone here yet (was always a big thing that had me in tears the first few months of every move in the army) as I feel happy here!

I have realised I must be feeling happy at last... I didnt even stress or get upset about a crack in my windscreen that happened last night and is growing by the hour... I sorted it out today (getting it fixed tomorrow) inbetween my training which I was in all day today... this time last week I think I would have been in tears about it but I just thought  then got on the phone (with my mum and sister's help ringing round too) to find out how to sort it asap! thats a good sign :ellie:
