I copied this recipe down from the pink site aaaaaagggggeeeesss ago - two years maybe? It's Minky's recipe for Killer Brownies. I forgot about the recipe but found it again and made them for the first time last night.
OMG - these are LUSH. Very sweet and chocolatey. I had mine with Greek Yoghurt and strawberries and DH ate about 3/4 of the batch.

Minky's Killer Brownies
1 large chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker if possible)
6oz butter
small tin carnation milk
12oz dark choc drops
14oz caramels

Cream butter and add cake mix a bit at a time until all creamed in. You will probably need to add about 1/3 of the milk to help it
Press 2/3 of mixture into greased 9"x13" baking tin and bake for 6-8 mins at 180 degrees
Empty choc drops evenly over semi cooked mix
Put rest of evaporated milk and caramel together and melt (if doing in microwave use safe bowl and check often
Pour caramel mix over choc drops. Sprinkle rest of cake mix over and bake for 15-20 mins
cool slightly and turn out. Cool completely and slice:choc: :cakeslice:

Sadly can't take the credit for that one Jelly - not mine (as have never used a cake mix in my life! :laff:)

I did post a brownie recipe I think but it involved chocolate and eggs and flour and sugar.

Hmm, who could it be?

Oh, sorry
Not sure who posted it then...

I just used a bag of soft caramel type sweets. I do like Betty Crocker cake mixes though. Almost as good as the real thing! I used one to make DS birthday cake for his party last year and lots of the parents told me that their kids loved it... I also used the Betty Crocker frosting on it, so I just smiled modestly and said "Thanks... it's a family recipe"

It was a couple of years ago and I've written the recipe down as 'Minky's Killer Brownies' so maybe it was that Minky
