I've only recently discovered creme fraiche and have been using it for all sorts of things from savoury dishes and sauces to spooning on fruit etc.
I can't find anywhere on the pots anything to say how long you can keep it once opened, can you really open it and then keep using it until the use by date?
Looking for other ideas... what do you cook with it?

Sorry i can't help with your query, but i also have a Creme Fraiche question - can you buy low fat creme fraiche?
And also, does anybody have any good one pot/casserole that would include Creme Fraiche?
Thanks a mill

I keep creme fraiche until the use by date however it is usually used up before then!
I use it to make potato salad dressing, and a really quick pasta dish.
Yes calgal, you can buy a lower fat creme fraiche.

I always buy the low fat one. I just use by the date on lid I think :scratchchin:
I use mine to make a mustard sauce for chicken or turkey . Dijon a,d wholegrain mustard , bit of stock then creme fraiche at the end . Its nice on strawberries too
