I have HUGE size 9s :( and I find it incredibly hard to get decent shoes anywhere (there doesn't seem to be anything in between cheap rubbish and ludicrously expensive stuff for us bigger footed bods).
I'd love to be able to fill my wardrobe with shoes, but I just can't find them in my size (everything goes up to an 8 but no further hmpf!)
I do however make up for it with bags, I LURVE bags and buy far too many!
Are shoes v.important to you? Do you spend more on shoes than anything else?
...and where do you buy your shoes?

I'm an 8.5 and have much the same problem as you. However 8's is some shops do fit me if thay are a 42 as opposed to a 41. Next do quite a few styles in a 9 and Evans is also good.

I'm a size 7 and must admit I don't find too many problems. But they're often sold out, so I'm guessing every man and his dog in my area is a 7!

I am between a size 5 and 6 so consisering i'm only 5ft thats a huge pair of flippers
I find it difficult to find shoes that fit because i'm between sizes, i can't really wear ballet shoe types because the 5's are too small and the 6's are too big. I have long toes and a narrow foot and an even narrower heel so slip on's are a nightmare as either my toes are curled up at the front of the shoe or my heel is slipping out of the back.
I tend to go for toe post flipflops in the summer as my feet are so narrow they end up slipping through mule styles  i don't really tend to do heels anymore although i always where heels if i go "out" out on a night out or to a wedding etc, which is very rare these days. If i wear heels i have to make sure that teh style of shoe has an ankle strap else the shoes will just slip off
I tend to buy MOST of my shoes from a little independent discount shoe shop at my local high street, its only a 10 min walk and they have end of lines and there are always bargains to be had. The have new stock in every day so there's always new lines in. I've had some great bargains, i bought Dh's wedding shoes from there, they were M&S black leather and only cost £10, i've had some Faith sandals from there for £7.50 and other various bargains. MOST of the shoes in there are cheap tack but thats normally all i can afford although i always try to buy leather cheap tack :teehee:
My Sister is a size 8/9 and she always has lovely new shoes on, i know she shops a lot in NewLook and Dp's!! hth

I'm a size 6 and have no problems finding that size.
I buy shoes almost every month and have more than 40 pairs, and every season I clear out and chuck the ones I haven't worn for a year or so..
I went up to size 7 when pregnant, so now have lots of 7's that are too big:doh:
I buy lots fo shoes from New Look & Faith
I am between a 6 and a 7 I :lurve: shoes and have way too many, Like Miss SC I tend to buy quite a few from New Look that way if I don't wear them too often I haven't wasted lots of money. My only problem is that I am the same height as my OH and bigger built so i have to wear flats all the time or it just looks odd when we are out together.

I'm about a 7.5 and I detest buying shoes  My biggest problem is that my feet are SO wide, so there are so many styles that I can't wear (little pointy shoes are a big no no!!) and buying one pair of shoes can take hours  I have a real problem with summer shoes, I can't get my feet into most of the strappy numbers so I live in flip flop type stuff.
I actually only own about 7 pairs of shoes for that very reason  And one pair is my wedding shoes!

How strange :puzzled: I'm a size 5 and it's always those that are sold out when I look in the sales so I assumed most women were 5's!
My sister takes a 3 or 4 so imagine her choice of fab shoes in the sales, there are HEAPS.

I'm a size 6 and don't seem to have too many problems buying shoes apart from the fact it seems to be a popular size so they sell out quite quickly. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to shoes and I always go for comfort over anything else. Minky and Katkinn would kill me as I seem to live my life in trainers

I'm a size 5, and to be honest i HATE wearing shoes. If i could walk around bare foot all the time i would be so happy.

I'm size 8 and like Lilybett, I detest buying shoes.
My feet are also wide so lots of styles don't fit
I tend to live in boots in the winter and flip flop types in summer. I can't wear the ones that go between the toes though, they rub something chronic.
I don't have a favourite shop, just go into all of them and buy what fits! I do begrudge paying out for shoes, definitely don't have a fetish for them.

Im a 6 (which are huge for my 5'1" frame) but I love shoes and used to buy them all the time, cant afford to as much as now! I love new shoes and like miss SC have well over 40 pairs! I had a huge clear out last year before I moved back to UK (gave my friends daughter who was 14 then a huge black bag full... about 20 odd pairs) and must have another clear out and get loads re-heeled... costs a fortune as I honestly wear 75% of all my shoes (season and outfit depending) however I have been living in trainers ( never wore trainers before except to the gym/exercising etc) and ballet pumps the past few months as my back hurts in heels!

I'm a 3 so I buy most of my shoes in the sales.... apart from today when I bought a pair of flipflops in Per Una for £25 and a pair of wedges in Primark for £6 - I wonder which will turn out to be the better buy!

Im between a 6 or 7 too.
My friend was saying that her daughter is a size 9 and so are most of the girls in her class as she was talking to the lady who sells sports kit. How come everyone's feet are getting bigger and bigger?!! Is it because were all getting taller or are we soon to be producing offspring with flippers for feet. My god we're all evolving back into sealife

I'm a size 8 and have hellish problems getting shoes to fit as my feet are so narrow - I seem to live in trainers so I can wear two pairs of socks to make them fit!!!!!

I'm a 4 1/2 or 5, which is small for my height of 5 feet 7 inches. My feet are quite attractive as I have a very high instep and very slim ankles. I can wear any shoes/sandal/boots.

Minky and Katkinn would kill me as I seem to live my life in trainers
however I have been living in trainers
 :faint:  :teehee: I'm saying nothing!!! I presume that you both clearly live in the gym? :teehee:
Each to their own though - more shoes for the rest of us to buy!!
I'm normally a 6.5 though when pg I go up to a 7 (although last time they did go back down thank the lord!!) Although it does depend on the style of the shoe and the shop.
I am obsessed with shoes to an embarrassing extent. At the moment my obsession is ballet shoes - I think I have 7 pairs which is clearly way too many. (especially as the most expensive ones - French Sole are only supposed to be used for *gentle use* so you can't even go for long walks with them :loco:
I WAS a huge loafers fan, but have swapped my addiction in the last couple of years for ballet shoes.
I also have a nasty addiction to flipflops and dread to think how many pairs I have - at least 10. Problem is that SO many of them are really uncomfortable so again I don't get to wear them as they butcher my feet (ftr most comfy ones I have are a gold pair from LK Bennett and a really cheapo gold and shell pair from New Look which I LOVE!!!)
I also have about 6 pairs of espadrilles from last year - er why?? I never ever wear them as they're too high for during the day but not dressy enough for night :loco:
In the winter I graduate to boots. I can honestly say that I pretty much NEVER wear shoes in the winter - only boots. Don't even want to think about how many pairs I have
And I daren't even START talking about handbags!!! :brainache:

I've recently purchased my first pair of trainers, I'm not keen on them at all.
I feel so self-conscious wearing them. :puzzled:

Me too, apart from my gym trainers! I need them as I can't wear heels in pregnancy because of my back but I hate wearing them... I feel chavvy  as I have always been a heels girl

I am a 6 although sometimes I can take a 5 1/2. I am getting a real thing for shoes at the mo. In fact when I went to do the shopping I got two pairs last night (Tesco shoes at the moment are brilliant, I got a pair of bronzey gold ballet pumps and some green toe post flip flops which came to the princely sum of £24 :ellie: ). I will have to sneak them into the house later. Most of my summer shoes come from a shop in Liverpool called España so you can guess where they import their shoes from. I mostly wear boots in the winter.

I'm a size 3, and yes sometimes is hard for me to find shoes, not because of the size, but because they have to be 100% leather (because they sweat a lot  ), also, I don't like wearing too high heels on a daily basis, so that's another problem. I do love shoes, and go to the shoestore as much as I can, then proceed to try a lot of them, but must of the times I refrain myself from buying as I feel guilty, since OH only has 3 pairs (winter shoes, summer shoes and tainers).
I only ever wear my trainers on the gym, which is funny, because when I was at uny I lived in them, but now I'd feel a little bit self concious!

I'm a six and a half or a seven depending on the shop. I like shoes but haven't bought many pairs this summer, maybe because I bought about 4 pairs of wedges last summer and am still wearing them
I have bought one pair of bronze coloured cheapo wedges from Next and THE most comfy leather flipflops ever from Timberland, they are a lovely teal colour.
I haven't got any ballet pumps yet, but they are my next purchase, I just need to get out on my own without children in two to be able to try lots on.
I only wear trainers to run in, and when I got my running shoes fitted I measured up as a 7 and a half.
There must be a lot of us out there with big feet as shops are often out of my size. I'd love to have small dainty feet.
