:faint: Well sandals actually, flip floppy ones. And I LOVE them! They are a kind of dull gold rather than a flashy brash coulour.

I may have been converted!!!

Ooh, I've always loved gold shoes in the summer. I used (many moons ago) to have a lovely pair of gold leather mules. They have gold sparkly Super Ga plimsolls on sale in a shop on our street - may have to get them!

i have some gorgeous gold (more rusty than the brash gold, IYSWIM) birkenstocks which look gorgeous with my freebie maharishis :grin: but they give me horrible blisters

My friend had a really really lush pair of gold birkie like but a bit dressier really comfy looking flipflops on Sat night and they were Hush Puppies!!!! So will be looking out for them in the sale! (along with the gold ballet pumps I have my eye on in LK Bennett!!)

I sometimes wear my gold wedding sandals - they just have a kitten heel so not too OTT. Also have bronze birkie-alikes & pale gold bejewelled beauties which are highly impractical and make me about 6'2!

they're from george cathy, and noonoo dont be daft, doesnt matter where they're from just wether theyre lovely or not :wink: And they are! i bought a pair like that last summer from jones' but they were too narrow so had to take 'em back boo hoo

god no it doesn't matter where they're from at all.

My absolute FAVE (gold obviously!!) flip flops at the mo are from New Look. One of the comfiest pair of flip flops i've ever owned

(and we all know hard it is to find a comfy pair of flip flops - god how much money have I wasted over the years on pairs that butcher my feet :doh: Problem is you can't tell till you've walked around in them for an hour or so !)

I think it's definitely should be the law that everyone must own at least ONE pair of gold shoes.

( I v embarrassingly worked out last night that I actually own 10 pairs of gold or silver shoes and flipflops :brainache: Although one pair of silver ballet pumps are a tad too small, and three of the pairs are two tone (cream and gold, salmon pink and gold and jade and gold - that's my excuse and i'm sticking with it!!!)
