Can you believe that after my rather cheeky request she sent me a pot of her home made marmelade all the way down here from Scotland! (My OH is now even more convinced that I hang out with a load of crazy people on line, although he's very impressed).

It is delicious - really really rich and dark and tangy with big chunks in - exactly how I love it! My mum makes her own marmelade and Bookie's is about 10 times better (but don't tell my mum that :oops: ).

Bookie - you should go into business! And thank you :bow: .

aw thanks sweetie! glad it arrived in one piece - I had visions of you getting this sticky soggy mess of broken glass in a jiffy bag! glad you like the chunkiness of it too, not everyone likes that. next up will be various berry jams and jellies, and wines! And tomato chutneys to use up all the toms once they're here I guess!
