Isabel has been poorly all day, very whingy and clingy, no sleep, no eating and her temp has constantly risen. At 6pm it was 38.9 and now it is 39.3.
OH has put her in a cool bath and I am giving her some Nurofen but apart from that, should I be concerned?
She seems fine otherwise.

Teddy ran a temp of over 39 for three days and I just kept dosing him up with calpol/ medised/ nurofen (though obviously not all at once! ) I also used cold flannels.
You could always give NHS direct a call - I did but they basically said unless it was accompanied by a rash to wait and see a GP if it didn't clear after 3 days. I of course booked an appointment on the morning of day 4 for that afternoon, and the temp had gone by the tmie I went

Poor little mite.
If the nurofen doesnt work you could give calpol as well. As long as you can get the temp down it doesnt sound like much to worry about.
Is she teething?

Just keep your eye on her, and you could also give her a dose of paracetamol too with the nurofen, put a cool flannel to the back of her legs as that will help cool her down faster, and plenty of fluids.
 Hope she picks up soon

I thought teething, no apparant signs although that doesn't always mean anything.
She seems happy enough now, playing and singing in th bath, just very fractious and tempermental and hot!
Should I leave her out of her Grobag tonight - bedroom is about 21degrees at the moment.

Poor mite. When Jess is like this, we just put her to bed in her nappy and vest.
