Would you test again?

Ok, so I am 9 days late.

I am assuming that its my antibiotics that have thrown my hormones and cycles, did a test on Monday and it was negative but still nothing.

Have no pregnancy symptoms, other than CM - what would you do??!! :smile:

I once had a really wierd 50 day cycle. So if you are 9 days late then I would leave it another week before doing another test.

I am normally very regular, either 28 or 30 days.....I am guessing its the tablets, but have searched the internet and its not a known side effect....bizarre :rant:

I've not heard that antibiotics can affect your cycle. I'd test again.

I tested at around 8 days late with Lucy and got a BFN, i left it another 10 days or so before i tested again and got my BFP!! I've never heard of antibiotics affecting your cycles either :huh:

I did the same as you and searched the 'net but couldn't find anything. I do think it's odd though that we've both had a similar problem on long term antibiotics :scratchchin:

Couldnt resist, so tested again!! Still BFN.....:sad:

Called my Doctor and had a chat, he said it was highly unlikely thatthe tablets would knock my system, he said its normally the other way around that they often make women come on earlier and more fertile.

So, he said its either 'one of those things' my bodies way of coping with recent stresses. Or I am pregnant and my body is masking the symptons and hormones, which is possible when you consider some women dont even know they are pregnant.

So, I have to wait another 10 days and test again if still negative I should go to the surgery for a blood test....so its a major waiting game....
