z asked me today when I was going to have another baby. I felt a bit :-( telling him he couldn't have a brother. I'm a mean mommy :angrybot:

I've been the same since Lu was tiny too. We decided when i was pg that we'd try after she was 12 months, but after she was born it kept getting put back and ended up being when she was 6 months which would have been June. I stopped bf at 5.5 months and we didn't use any contraception for a month but then we found out about this recent holiday so had to put things on hold. I was gutted to say the least :(
Now we've been trying 6 months and nothing :( I'm begining to wish we'd sodded the damn holiday and just got on with it.
Our friends were due to get married in July but we had a call whilst we were away to say its been brought forward to May. They already have a 3.5 yr old and a little boy she had in June last year and she is pg again (complete accident) but i'm GUTTED. I was expecting to be pregnant at their wedding, and had practically chosen which maternity dress i was going to wear to show my bump off (sad i know :() NOW the bride will be pregnant and i won't!!
Sorry this has turned into a rant!!
Joanna, i'm SURE you'll be pregnant before September ;) and i think you know that too :ellie:

I am back 'at work' from July but only for two days a week and I am working from home, so wont actually be going back in the office.
My boss actually asked me yesterday when I was going to have No 2!

When Jack was born we decided to try for number 3 when he was 12 months but just before we got married (in september) we decided when we came back from greece we would start trying and two months later i was pg. Jack was 9 months old :ellie:

Aww bless you Joanna, you are   though :laff: I never really reached the stage of being broody again, I think I was planning on waiting till Miss E was 18 :laff: :laff:
But obviously mother nature had different plans for me, still it could of been worse, look at BJmac, I am sure her LO was only about 4/6 weeks when she fell again, mind you that would not have been me, we did not DTD until Miss E was about 3 months

I first got broody when J was five months old. It comes and goes in waves now- now being a particularly strong wave.

I agree that it comes in waves. Atm I'm on a lesser wave but probably because I met up with some ladies and their gorgeous babies on Friday and managed to get the baby cuddling out of my system for the meantime at least.
