OMG!!

I have so much junk.

I'm ripping my place to shreds to declutter. I have three wardrobes, one in my room with my clothes and the other two in the spare rooms and you can't even open the doors without shite falling out. :brainache:

So, I decided to do a major declutter and have found a typewriter, stuffed toys, craft stuff over 15 years old I never finished, a heap of jigsaw puzzles, craft stuff unopened also about 15 years old, never started. Heaps of old vinyl records (but I have decided to keep them). Text books (nursing) from uni...erm back in 1985

Old travel bags, those free ones you get when you book tours, that I don't even use on the tours. :scratchchin:

My mums vacuum cleaner she lent me, actually, she hates it and gave it to me. I hate ti too. Gonna give it back. There's a way to get rid of it

A bike helmet. Last time I rode a bike was in 1990 I think. Why do I own a bike helmet and no bike :puzzled:

...and it never ends. Stuffed toys, old fabric, you name it, I have it.

Gonna try and find a fete to give some of the better stuff to, like the jigsaw puzzles ect.

Have to keep my first doll though even though I'm sure it has some bacyerial viral illness.

:faint: That is some declutter!!!! :thumb:

LOL - I try to keep on top of clutter by playing "fill the bag".

I take a plastic bag and go around the house and I have to fill it - I always manage to as well no matter how many times I go around!!!!

I was up till 2am, but I have done it!!!

I've just got about 6 bags of stuff to get rid of. My wheely bin is almost full so I'm going to wait till Tuesday night when people put their wheelie bins out and donate a bag of shite to each bin...to fulfil their purpose in life :bwahaha: Hope I don't get caught stalking wheelie bins late tuesday night :yeahright:

 WELL DONE  I have been doing this a lot recently. I've got a lot of friends who give me all their old clothes and I've accumulated a LOT of junk.

So far this year alone I've already taken 5 big black bin bags of clothes to the charity shop and I've got another to go.

I thank Pancake01!!! I wanted to do this before but she is THE cleaning guru and she inspired me to declutter my house. So far I've done my wardrobe, my kitchen and I'm currently working on my kids' room.

It's very theraputic isn't it? Tonight DH and I found some videos of our first baby and have watched them tonight. I think I might be able to get him to declutter the office after this...... :thumb: :fingerscrossed:

Can you come and do mine next?

Have only been living in this house for 4 years and the junk that's been accumulated is amazing. The garden too has a few "pikey corners" .

ah, I was wondering if you got your stuff yet.

Customs and Quarantine are probably rummaging through it and manhandelling everything like they do. The broke my cuckoo clock ($780) I sent from Germany when I was travelling. It was easily fixed, a bit of glue but I was not impressed.

But I think I was balcklisted by that point as I'd sent something else home and it had spagmum moss on it and I got fined :hissyfit: Then they decided to radiate it and fried the green moss till it was brown and the music box hasn't worked since. It was a garden scene 3-D music box I bought in Nuremberg. It was wooden, but I knew the wood was fine, I just never saw the 3 size of a pinhead bits of spagmum moss.

Then, the cat chewed a bit of the sun flower off.

I think it was one of those things, never ment to be
