View Full Version : FAO Narcissa
I've been mooching around threads in search of inspiration for meals and you mentioned "sticky lemon chicken" - pretty please could I have the recipe?
Why is it when there is a FAO thread you cant help but read it, even when you know you will have nothing to add to it :teehee: Nosy buggers!
Everyone does it Joanna! Feel free to add "inspiration" recipes tho....
I've just read this too - I'd say we're inquisitive!
LOL - you nosey buggers!!!!!
Nothing like a nose in a FAO thread though!!!!
Here's the one I use:
6 boneless chicken breasts (with skin on)
red onion cut into wedges
500g floury potatoes
2 large lemons
6 garlic cloves
2 tbspn clear honey
2 tbspn olive oil
Brown chicken in pan (skin side down) for a min or so.
Put in roasting tin with potato and onion wedges.
Zest both lemons. Wedge one and juice the other. Put wedges into roaster.
Put in whole garlic cloves.
Mix lemon juice, honey, oil.
Pour over chicken add herbs.
Bake for 1hr or until wedges are soft and chicken is cooked.
Thanks Narcissa, this is tomorrow nights dinner now. Damsels have provided my family with a meal every night this week!
