I started my own card business when on mat leave and, whilst it's been a bit quiet of late, I still dabble and take the odd order. I haven't updated my site for a while - most of my more recent orders are bespoke. My website is www.thecardpaige.co.uk
T'is very hard to try and run a business while being a full time working mummy!

I'm Kat and I'm an Usborne Books at Home organiser. Which is a fantastic job as I get to look at kid's books all the time! I've done it for two years, and love it more and more as time goes on.
I don't have a website, but I can be contacted with any questions at usborne.kathryn@yahoo.co.uk.

I'm new to this site, I found it through Hitched.co.uk.
I just started my own business last May, I do handmade tiaras, jewellery, stationery, guest books etc. My business is called Spellbound Tiaras & Stationery.
I haven't got the website up and running yet, but hopefully it should be ready in the next week or so. That's if hubby gets his finger out :x

Spellbound, you tell your hubby to get his finger out because you need your business to be listed on a website full of women who want tiaras :)

I run my own wedding jewellery design business. I have my own studio at home and have my own website and eBay shop. It's actually two years today I officially started my business but it did take nearly a year to get it all up and running!!
I enjoy doing wedding fayres and exhibitions and love designing bespoke designs for my brides and other clients that come to me.
My aim is to have my own shop and then I'll be really happy!! :D

I sell kitchen tools in a party type atmosphere at people's houses. I've only been doing it 4 months but I absolutely love it and it's been a fabulous income so far.
Because of my level in the company though, i can't actually tell you what it is unless you PM me. So if anyone wants to know you know what to do!

Hi TummyMonster,
I am in Coddington which is just off the A46 at Newark
Great businesses everyone, and such a mixed range of things....
Well, I have just launched my own website selling handmade semi precious jewellery. Have a look at www.morena-boutique.co.uk to see my designs.
I am hoping to be able to make this a success so I can work from home and look after my baby. Not really looking forward to having to return back to work as a librarian.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated:grin:

Steph, will you be doing footmuffs? My LO doesn't use a comforter so we don't need a snuggly, but the range of colours and patterns on your site is brilliant!

No plans for them yet. I would have to come up with a desgin of my own and get practicing making them! Might be something for the future though. Glad you like the colours and patterns.

Not that I have had much time for anything recently but I......
Organise demonstrations, sell products that are natural/organic. Including eco friendly detergent which goes in the washing machine, use for washing dishes, cleans surfaces (really well, much prefer to it to Ecover). Range includes Aloe Vera based skincare products, vits & mins, help with weight loss and management (lost 3/4 of a stone last time I followed the program) and lots more. Amazing products!
Also a distributor for a company that does some lovely cheap cards, really good quality at a great price. If I ahd been fitter I wouldhave been doing all the local Christmas bazaars etc
I am in the process of starting up childminding too. When I (hopefully) get approved by Ofsted will be doing that full time and leave my horrible job.

Oh I have two
I am an Ofsted registered childminder

I'm doing a few bits and pieces as a sideline to my day job-
Wedding favours of handmade chocolates, I am in York and these can only really be done locally as they don't travel well.
And homemade jams and chutneys and food hampers. I've sold a few this Christmas so if anyone wants any nice tailor made foody gifts for people throughout the year please PM me. These keep well so can be delivered UK wide. I don't have a website set up as yet though:oops:

Should I give you a link? There are websits so people can have a look. I was also going to suggest, if people want to PM me with orders, I can give Damsels a 10% discount!

Me and a friend are just starting to set up an "adult gifts" website, abit like Ann Summers.
We are also going to organise partys locally, but they are not restricted to just ladies - couples/men only/gay/straight whatever. (we will take money off anyone  )
The website isnt quite finnished yet, we are hoping to have it done in the next month and have a launch party to promote it.
