No... not ME, I make a point of only breaking into a jog if my life is in serious danger .
But my good friend Emily is running this year and is raising money for Shelter http://england.shelter.org.uk/home/index.cfm
As well as sponsoring her I shall be pitching up at a few carefully selected pubs en-route to lend some support. It's a good cause, so if any Damsels have a spare pound or two to help her reach her goal I thought that it was worthwhile posting a link to her Just Giving page.

In light of my recent experience I'm also donating money to the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust through another runner (that I don't know).
http://www.ectopic.org/donations/fundraisers.asp?sponsor_id=9
The trust is a support network for families touched by Ectopic Pregnancy, and promotes awareness of Ectopic Pregnancy to the UK medical profession - as knowledge of the condition is poor and many women aren't as 'lucky' as I was and don't get the correct or timely treatment due to misdiagnosis.
I hope no-one minds me posting this - doing the marathon is a massive undertaking and if anyone can find a few spare pounds to help these (or other) good causes, that would be just fantastic :flowers:.
