View Full Version : Planting String beans & Geraniums.
Is it too soon to put my string bean plants outside in the ground?
Last year I brought inside four of my geraniums (1 died:doh:  ). Is it too early to plant these outside?
I would say it is still a bit too early Chell. Your supposed to "harden" them off if they have been inside. Put them out in their pots or trays in the daytime for a bit of sunshine and then bring them in for the evening. Once the evenings start to get a little warmer then try leaving them out - especially the geraniums.
I would be tempted to plant out the beans but if there is a bad frost protect them with something, so keep an eye on the forecast. HTH
:teehee: Thanks Lemon, I can't get used to calling you Robyn when you have been Lemon for so long.
