Ooooohhhh just had fab news in work

My company have just announced on top of Stat Maternity pay they are to top it up to full pay up to 18 weeks :yes: :yes: :yes:

I am over the moon, this may mean that I can have a little bit longer than 6 months off :)

LOL spandangly, too be honest things like this never usually go my way, normally this would be announced the day I come back off mat leave or something :laff: :laff: So it was a nice surprise, also considering I work for such a huge company I never thought they would do something like this, too many women of child bearing age, its going to cost them a fortune :cheer: :cheer:

That's fab, Adele. I only got full pay for 6 weeks. I added my A/L entitlement on, and got barely 3 months off before I went back to work as just wouldn't have managed on SMP :-( . I'm sure this is one of the major starting points of me getting PND.
