.... to have a totally pregnant-shaped, showing belly at just short of 10 weeks!!!  Someone at work (who knows about the baby) commented on how much I was showing today and even DH said that I'm a proper pregnant shape now - and obviously not just fat-bellied (my words not his!!)

Could it be ...gulp... twins?????? There are no twins in my family but there are in DH's - though it's not through immediate family, but one of his cousins has just had twins.

This happened to one of my closest friends, who was PG at the same time I was PG with Connor. It took me about 5 months to really show with Connor, but she had a belly at 9 weeks. She had one baby, who weighed about 7lbs full term!

I looked full term by about 18 weeks with my second baby, but never really got any bigger. There was only one and he only weighed 7lbs 9ozs. Think my stomach muscles had given up the ghost (not that I'm suggesting for one minute that yours have). I was in maternity wear at about 10 weeks.

With Eliza I looked totally pregnant at 10 weeks, not fat, just round, pregnant-shaped bump.

I told everyone immediately I was pregnant but there was no way I could have kept it a secret anyway, it was plain it was baby

I showed a lot earlier with my 2nd pregnancy, it may have something to do with stomach muscles. But then it may be twins:grin: only kidding. You will be able to find out at your scan.

A girl at work is pg and she started showing very early. She is about 29 weeks now and huge but I don't think she will get any bigger. It is all bump though (and I am so chuffed for her as it has taken 10 years to get to this point:ellie: )

i was showing v early this time, not unusual with no 2 i don't think!

thing is, you think you look really really pregnant, then by 28 odd weeks, you really really do look pregnant! (until you realise you're no way near as pregnant as you looked at 40 weeks last time  )
