View Full Version : Errr... update on preg symptoms...

I changed my contraception last Tuesday and i didnt read the leaflet properlly intil this morning (like a bloody idiot) and it said 'if changing from the mini pill, use a non hormonal form of contraceptive for 7 days' and like an idiot i had sex last Tuesday not knowing this. I have been feeling a bit queezy when hingry and like i said in my previous post my boobs have been looking a tad bigger... do you think im just being paranoid? i did a preg test yesterday and it was neg but it would be wouldnt it?

Help im freaking out a bit!

aww i bet you are,i would wait a few more days or even a week and test again

It could be just the swapping over to the patch that has made a difference to your boobs

yeh could be.. me personally i would wait till wkend then test again when i was preggers i got 3 - before my bfp my first +was 10days after sex.. good luck i hope u get the result you want :nod:

I just rang my nurse... the one who told me i didnt need to use anything else and that i would be protected. She said pop in with a sample next tues morning. Eeeeek! She saidthe feeling sick and boobs were probably the patch and it would be very unlikely for me to be pregnant.

my nurse just called back after speaking to another nurse who said nausea and breast enlargement was a symptom of changing contraception but to still come in next week. God i feel even more sick now... i feel so anxious!

I'd agree with the symptoms being related to the patch.

It would be unlikely you'd ovulate immediately after changing contraception though. Best to get it checked but I'd say you'd be pretty unlikely to be pg.
