What is this Big Brotherhood business?

Somehow I managed to get myself a life at the weekend - not sure how :puzzled: - and I haven't watched BB since the opening show.

On the Channel 4 BB website it mentions the Big Brotherhood giving presents to the others, one of which (a hat) meant the person receiving it went into the Big Brotherhood and was safe from being evicted, or nominated, or something.

So what is this Big Brotherhood thing? How did the people who are in it, get in it? And who is in it? :puzzled:

The first two were Lisa and Shebaz. They put a call for 2 people to come to the diary room and that was who went. They got their suitcases and then they were allowed to choose more people to join. I think Richard, Pete, Lea, Sezer and Grace are the ones in it at the moment. THey are all immune from being evicted and all have their cases.

There was a BB'hood only party the other day but Shebaz spent it on his own in the toilet
