How soon do you start feeling preg symptoms?

I have been feeling quite ill when hungry (usually mornings) which reminds me ALOT of being preg with C.

I havent had a period for a long long while as i was on the mini pill.

Last weekend i did a preg test and the weekend before that and both neg but they were the really cheap £1 ones... would this make a difference?

It shouldn't make a difference how much the test cost, a pregnancy test is a pregnancy test IMO. However you CAN get a -tive result and BE pregnant, its more difficult to get a +tive result and NOT be pregnant IYSWIM.

RE: Symptoms, they can start very early, some people say that they KNEW the day after they had sex :shock: that they were pregnant.

Early signs are more likely to be sore boobs, dull aching/cramping in your abdomen, increased vaginal discharge and tiredness rather than sickness which tends to set in at around 6-8 wks in MOST people, but i spose it COULD happen earlier.

If you REALLY think that you ARE pregnant again and want a full proof result i suggest you but a CLEAR BLUE digital as you are more likely to get a TRUE result.

This is the LAST thing you need atm isn't it Nay!! what would you do if you WERE pregnant :scratchchin:

i did get slightly heavy feeling boobs and last week i got some really sharp pains in my belly.

err actually this is scaring me now... my boobs deffinatly feel a bit bigger and heavy. Can you get pre menstrel (sp) and not bleed?

Spoke to Mr.N and he said that maybe i should do a clear blue test.

I guess only way to know for sure is do a test again . Maybe try clearblue or first response. Hope you get the result you want.

ETA: How are things since you posted in relationships? Have you sat down with Mr Nay and had a chat about how you feel. This is the last thing you need atm, i think you should really go out and get another test so you know where you're at. Thinking of you Nay!

Things have been alright the last few days. We didnt sit down and talk because it never works... it works better to just try and help things to get better. As for the holiday thing, i might just take C on my own... that would teach him!

With both my pregnancys it was my boobs for me and was about a week after followed bu waking in the night for a wee & i never do normally

i did and it was negative! I think thats best really! ideally i would like C to be coming up to 3 when (if) the next one is due. Symptoms must just be due to new contraception then!

Well you don't seem upset that it was negative Nay so maybe its a good thing!! At least you KNOW now and can move on from this. What contraception have you changed to out of interest?

the hormone patch. No im not upset, im happy with just C for the moment! Also Mr.N doesnt want another so thats for the best!
