It's suggesting time again! :ellie:Many thanks to all who are joining in the May recipes. It is interesting seeing how they all turned out and they all look fantastic!

For any new :damsels: ,Cookalong Capers is where we suggest a sweet and/or savoury baking recipe, vote on it and then make it and post about how it went and take a picture. You can make the recipe at any time in the month so suit you.

Now I don't want to be all :lecture: but I came across a couple of problems last time round so have to introduce some guidelines to help things run a bit more smoothly:meditate:

There is only room for 10 options on a poll and there was a lot of suggestions last time, so if you could limit yourselves to one recipe and that should give everyone a chance to choose.
When you post your suggestion, could you please link to or type out the recipe. This is to allow people who shop online to know what it is they need to buy and so people know if they have all the tins etc before they vote. I will be on holiday from 27th May - 2nd June so won't be able to do the monthly thread straight away.Right, that's the boring bit done. over to you for which SWEET recipe you would like to make in June:chef: I will start the poll on the 25th May to end on 1st June.

How about something seasonal?

There was a lovely summer pudding on Great British Menu this week:

it was served with whisky ice cream and shortbread but it's probably enough just to make the pudding.

AND it's great for using up slightly old slices of bread!

Maybe a little too healthy  but I've had this recipe for clementine and oat muffins sitting in my recipe file for ages and just never got around to making them.

Great minds Narcissa, I was going to say Delia's lemon meringue pie too. My step-dad told someone the other day that I made the best lemon meringue pie ever, but it is all down to Delia.

Must be your skill Donna, I followed that recipe and it was horrendous, it all overflowed and stuck to the botom of my oven.
