View Full Version : Where do you buy mat clothes from?

When I was expecting P I bought the majority of my mat clothes online at Next. Typically I'm pregnant through different seasons this time and need to invest in some more.
Where does everyone go? I've been in H&M and they have an ok selection (though all very breasty!) and I wondered where else I can go?
Thanks

I hated Next and H&M maternity clothes. I have fab jeans from Topshop and even some nice ones from Adsa! I like lots in Dotty P's and have some stuff from there too. I want to look at the New Look stuff (should be going in a few weeks)
Ebay is a fab place to look for maternity clothes too...

I love the H&M range. Just seems to fit me great (and I am very breasty!) and the erm... asda range is quite good as well  got jeans out of there on Monday and they are fab... good leg lengths as well. TS around here never seems to have anything i like and my bump's now too low for my TS mat jeans to stay up :( and I find next and mothercare just a bit frumpy and the lengths of the tops seem a bit short for me now from DP... but I still have the black dress from there and it's still great on.
good luck with the shopping

My jeans are from Mothercare, they have a waistband but then an overbump panel, and I really like them. The tops however only come half way down my bump!
I have a few topshop basic tops, and an H&M top I love - all good lengths. I have a massive bump, and half the stuff around wouldn't even cover my belly button.
I thoroughly recommend the Next turn-top trousers. I only got them recently and I wish I'd bought them ages ago. I have them in chocolate and they are great - so comfy now I'm ginormous. However I also have their brown linen trousers and the petite length drags on the floor (I'm 5'2) and they go so baggy that I only really get one day out of them.
I have a really nice pumpkin patch top, and they had some cracking bargains in their online sale - not sure iof it's still on - yes it is here: http://www.pumpkinpatch.co.uk/favlooks.cfm?fav_look_section_id=14&fav_look_screen_id=1&on_sale_only_flag=1&season_codes='W02,W03,W04,W05,W06,S03,S04,S05'
I also have a nice top from DP's, but I do find their lengths a bit hit and miss. They have some lovely stuff online ATM. Check out the HB fashion discount thread for 20% off

At 28 weeks pg, I have not bought or worn any mat clothes yet. Long may it continue!
So far I have got by with those button extenders from Woolies on my work trousers and jeans, hipster jog bottoms from Primark, white and black 6 quid each size 16/18, New Look normal white embroidered skirt size 16 black skirt bhs size 14 etc...
Best bargain has been Asda normal jeans for £4. I have just bought normal clothes in much bigger sizes as I cannot afford mat clothes - some are a right rip off and I NEVER intend to be pregnant again.
When I wear the button extender, I tend to wear longer loose tops to cover the button extender.
