Baby with cough

It was bound to happen. Bens little cough has developed into my hacking cough :-(

I dont know if its worth taking him to the doctors as I dont know if there is anything they can give him, or is there anything which I can get from the chemist?

Ollie has had one of these for about 2 months now & we have been to the Drs 3 times! 3 different drs have said no there is nothing that can be done.:no:

Gemma has it for about 3 months and has only recently shaken it. My Dr told me that there is a virus doing the rounds and that it could last 2 weeks or 6 months. He also said that there as nothing he could give her as it was a virus so any antibiotics would be a wast of time (not that I would have given them to her).

Take him to see the Doc anyway as he/she will be able to at least rule out a chest infection. At the end we used some over the counter cough medicine to ease it, especially at night, but it was for 1 year and older. I don't know if you can get something for him at such a young age.
