I haven't had it in years either. I've made my batter and have some LARD to cook it in. :grin:

I will be the size of a house after I've eaten it. I'm going to have it with sweet potato mash, peas and parsnip puree.

My OH's favourite meal ever is Toad in the Hole with peas and mash so I make it about once a fortnight!

Yours looks lovely, but I must admit when I make it my sausages are all perfectly aligned and very symmetrical :brainache:

Understatement of the year! that looks SOOOO scrummy:hungry: - mine usually turns out pale and flat (a bit like my chest in the summer :teehee: )

I have been inspired to try again and with an onion gravy, yummmmm....
