I have decided I would love a career in party planning or event organising, possibly even wedding planning... spurred on by a job I applied for but didnt have enough experience or qualifications... so I am going to do a course in something to do with hotel/tourism/etc (have to see whats about)

I still really want to do beauty therapy but I just cant afford to go to college full time for 2 years :sigh: so that idea is on the back burner... again

But I think I would love to be an events organiser so going to do a course to help get my foot on the ladder

Good for you!!! You can work at your own pace doing distance learning.

Good for you! Is hospitality the kind of course you need for that?

Hope you manage to find something!

Oh thats great. Things are looking up for you as well.

I really hope you get the job that you want.

I have asked for application forms to do a degree in social work so hopefully that will work out for me.

Fingers crossed for both of us

Good for you. Are there no beauty therapy courses in the evenings or part time? My friend did her entire beauty therepy training like that with a full time job?

In any case although I have no event planning qualifications (just lots of more useless ones  ) I did used to do it for a living until very recently so feel free to ask questions if you wish. (I'm pretty sure someone else here does it too but with celebs and things).

Good luck to you with it all.

I guess Beauty therapy is very hands on too and hard to do distance learning. I hope you get on well with this course JT.
