In order to make better use of all the wonderful posts that this forum attracts, but which don't get looked at after they drop off the first or second page, I want to split it into some useful "archives".

For Food & Drink I am thinking of the following archive subforums:

Cookalong Capers
Recipes - Savoury
Recipies - Sweet
Cooking equipment
Food shopping

Can you think of any more that would be useful?

(You would still be able to post any questions you wanted in Food & Drink, or you could post in the subforums. Once they dropped on to the second page, say, of F&D then they would be moved to the subforum.)

Your input would be appreciated! :flowers:

What about "recipes - savoury" being split into savoury/veggie and savoury/non veggie?

How about 'Cooking without...' for non dairy, gluten free recipes etc? 'Cooking for/with kids' - or would that go in the parenting forums?

Great suggestions!

I like the idea of different meat / veggie recipe sections.

Cooking For Kids sounds good too - I'd like it to be here, so parents don't get ghettoised!

As for the special diets one - what to call it? Would "Special Diets" do? Or does that sound too much like dieting... :puzzled:

I think "Free From... Recipes" or something like that sounds okay Damz.

How about seasonal - especially Christmas Recipes?

I liked the title "cooking without...." then you can put all the "without whatever" recipes in together, perhaps with different threads for no gluten, no dairy etc.

"Cooking Without" it is then :thumb:

I like the season idea as well - barbies could go in there.

And what about a drinks subforum too? Maybe alcoholic and non-?
