Apparently, according to the dutch statistics more babies are born during a full moon than any other time of the month.

Plus over in Holland its mothers day tomorrow.

So do you think that might mean bubs might make an appearance tonight?????

Sent DH out for pineapple and he will be getting lucky tonight as I want this baby to arrive

Keep your fingers crossed ladies.

This is really interesting!- just been googling and looking at a few sites with info about this.
Apparently, women who already have children are more likely to give birth on a full moon. Also, it happens all the time in nature.
Menstrual cycles are said to be linked to lunar cycles so I guess you never know......
Hope it works for you Andie!

Pineapple is another one of those 'things' that some people think kick start labour. Its worth giving it a go!

Apparently the pineapple does something to the uterus but i am not really sure I believe it at all.

i had to carry Dylan yesterday for about a 20 minute walk and that didn't move anything either.

Have decided to forget that I am pg  not look at the calendar and just see when baby arrives.

Good luck shamu, bjmac and keira hope it all happens soon. Oh and shamu save me a bit of sushi I would love some right now.

Strangely enough all i want to drink is hot milk and its about 25 degrees heree today

Andie, Shamu and Keira, I am sure i will be the last one out of us all - I have got it into my head that baby will come on the 21st May (as that was Dixie's due date, and nearly everyone in my family is born on someone else's birthday)

But it's mad isn't it, because I really keep thinking to myself that I will NEVER have this baby, but obviously I will, and more than likely within the next 10 days or so

I had my girl the day before a full moon (was a scheduled section) but the next day one of the nurses said they were short-handed because it was a full moon and more babies were born.

No nothing doing in this house either.

Well except that Dylan has a cold and kept us awake all night with a runny nose and crying.

Probably trying to get us ready for a new born
