Can anyone help me? As I am having a shopping nightmare and am looking like tramp!

I really need some cropped jeans - would like them to be over bump, but not with that stretchy panel thing!

Also need a glam outfit for a big night out in town (summer ball!!) and would like to be able to wear it afterwards too as I am sooo mean buying matty stuff!

Ta - if I can't find anything I guess that I could wear a bin bag!

I think you might struggle to find over the bump jeans without a panel? I have seen cropped jeans somewhere but I cant for the life think of where it was, could have been Next?

thanks joanna

i have some jojomama jeans (that I have on and am roasting!) that look like normal jeans and go over the bump - uber comfie and I am seriously thinking about cropping them myself if I don't pass out first with heat stroke!

I got some last year from Mothercare. They were OTB and had the elastic at the waist-band instead of a panel. They weren't cropped though, but you could get something like that and have them shortened.

Try ebay. I haven't got round to listing mine yet, but it's on my massive 'to do' list.

Must add, they were damn uncomfy which is why I'm getting rid. I liked the big panel jeans, and found a great pair in next that had a proper waist-band to go under the bump, so that they looked normal from the back, but a humungous jersey bit that went right up to under my bra. I lived in them.

I noticed a really large range of maternity clothes in top shop the other day - last year when I wsa pregnant they only had a few things but there's loads now. Saw some really gorgeous dresses - wrap style that would do for a night out and may fit when you're not pregnant. You could have a look on the website first.

I also bought stuff in Dorothy Perkins and H&M.

HTH!

I have a pair of JJMB cropped jeans that don't have a panel and also a pair from Blooming Marvellous. Both have the elastic inside which adjusts iyswim. Would offer you them, but they're probably too big and I'm hoping I can use them after the birth (far too small at the moment  )

M&S have started doing maternity stuff again and actually the stuff is quite nice and not too pricey - especially trousers
