We're back home now & so happy!! She's just perfect, I am so in love! She's adorable. :smile: Gush gush gush!!! :grin:

MrOp is still in a total daze - he's absolutely blown away & keeps getting all over emotional! Bless! :higgies:

She's doing really well. Has a touch of jaundice but is absolutely fine. She's feeding well & I seem to be getting on well with it too surprisingly! I am USELESS at the whole nappy thing (especially the loaded sticky green ones!!!) but that'll come with time. I'm healing well, quite swollen & tender but nothing like I thought it'd be & again rather surprisingly I'm getting on really well with everything. Had a grand total of 6 hours sleep the last 3 nights but I feel fantastic! And now we're back home it'll be a lot easier to get naps in during the day. I could do it all again tomorrow! :ellie:

Yep. :lol:

It was an elective c-section so there was no huffing & puffing, no pain, no sweating, no labour! So that morning I could have a soaky bath, wash my hair, do my make-up, go to the hospital, hop on the bed, have the drugs, baby was taken out & passed to me & all I had to do was lie there! So when the cameras came out & the visitors turned up I was all ready for it!! :lol: Cheat!!

Though of course I shall tell people that it was an emergency c-section after 36 hours hard labour & I had no make-up or anything, just a natural post birth glow!!! :bwahaha: :wink:

Here she is tonight just after a bath & ready for bed. :smile:

I too had an elective section although I ended up having a general so all that time spent putting make up on beforehand was wasted. So unfortunately my plans of looking great in those first pics didnt quite happen, but you managed to look gorgeous!
