Wish me luck- Mammogram tomorrow

Wish me luck guys. I am having a mammogram tomorrow morning. TBH I don't think anything will show up. I have had a breast lump for some years and the consultant is just checking all is well after having G. Never had one before though :-(

Good Luck, just remember not to put deodorant on - it affects the results (my Auntie did this and was recalled)

Thanks guys for your good wishes. It turned out to be a more traumatic morning than I thought. I had an examination and then a Mammogram. Wow that was a lot more painful than I had anticipated. Then back in to see the consultant who said that my left boob was ok and the lump was still benign but that they had found 2 lumps in my right one. I started to panic at that point. He scanned me with an ultrasound and could only find one lump, so back for another mammogram. Then I had to wait, I had all kinds going through my mind. Anyway luckily it turns out to be another benign lump (fibroidadenoma) and they are going to leave it for the time being as it is very small. The other lump was probably just fatty tissue.
Phew, am glad that is over. My plea to all though is do check your boobs regularly :grin: and see your doc if you are worried about anything.
