I really dont know what to do.

I try my best to be a good mum, i set up all the cushions in the front room along with a duvet and a tunnel and a tent and put a nursery rhyme cd on and tried to play with C but all he wants to do is grab my nose (which BLOODY hurts) or bite me. The two warnings then naughty room has been going wrong because i give him like 5 warnings because i really want to play with him.

I sat at the table and started doing something and he gets the candelsticks and tries pulling things off the table and stuff but i ignore him as its too much hassle and im shattered. I wanted to play with him but he is being such a naughty boy it really upsets me. I have a TON of things to do... i had a deadline i didnt meet lastnight so i have to work on that but i pushed it all aside and for what... to get bitten and scratched.

Sorry i just needed to get that off my chest!

Sorry, I've got no great words of wisdom, but I do sympathise.

Is there anywhere safe you could plonk him for 5 minutes and go and make yourself a cuppa?

god i feel like such a c r a p mum!

Of course you're not.

Stick him on the floor with a load of cushions and go into another room and have a good stamp about. It always makes me feel better.

You are not a crap mum!.

You have got things that need doing and a little boy that knows just how to push your buttons.

No advice, but just wanted to send you a hug.x

Oh Nay you're not a crap Mum and you know you're not :happyno:

I can completely sympathise as i was just about to post a similar thread re: Lucy.

We've been in the back garden since 10:30am and i've set all her outdoor things up for her to play with, her slide, sandpit, playhouse and even blown up her paddling pool.

and what has she done...

Eaten stones off the floor
Thrown a stick at the cat
Bitten a hole in her BRAND NEW pool before i even got to put any water in it
Bitten a hole in 3 of her inflatable toys
Broken my sunglasses
Eaten sand and lots of it
She keeps throwing stones into the house
Escaping into the garage
Pulled the rotary line out of the ground (don't ask me how, i can't even do it 1/2 the time :sigh:

I just don't know what to do with her.

She's had her lunch but didn't really touch it and fell asleep on my lap in the lounge so i've just put her to bed, but now she is upstairs singing her heart out, i feel so shattered from this morning i don't even want to go and get her :-( on top of this i'm having the AF from hell

well i tried to give him cheese spread and cucumber sandwiches but they went on the floor so i gave him beans on toast which went down well... then he started up again so i gave up... plonked him infront of Tikkabilla!

Well at least he ate his lunch!

I got Lu up and tried a ham sandwich with some babybel on the side, she had one bite of the bread, wiped the ham on her legs, mushed the babybel into her hair and threw the plate at the cat.

I tried to play with her in her sandpit but she just kept screaming at the top of her voice, all the neighbours are outside today and i SOOOOOO wanted to scream and shout back at her but i couldn't.

She is now back in her bed again, screaming, so i've closed the window so the neighbours can't hear.

To top it all off DH has JUST informed me that his mate, his wife and their 3 kids are coming round for a BBQ in about 1/2 an hour    and that he has offered for us to have all 3 of them again on Saturday night so they can have a night out!

I feel like packing my bags and walking, and leaving Lucy here.

Nay - you are not a crap mum, this is a normal toddler and we all eventually go through this. They are ascertaining their authority and will try every way to grab your attention.

Can you get outside and let him run around, I find that works best with Ellis.

Hope your afternoon is going better.

Rach x
