Hi girls,
Well today was Tasha's first day at playschool. I dropped her off at 9.15am (we had called for her little friend on the way), so when we got there Tash was fine and playing with her little (boy) friend and all the other lads until the doors opened.
It was SO weird seeing her run around knowing I would be leaving her there.
I heard one of the little boys say, ''what is your name'' which really made me smile inside.
Then once we went in and had hung Tasha's coat, she was off !! I paid her weekly fee, then just went as Tash was mingling no problem.
I picked her up again at 11.45 and she was so excited to see me - but then screamed blue murder when she realised we had to go home :hissyfit:
One of the carers told me she LOVED doing the needle and thread time, so she clearly has my creative streak :-)
It was so nice to see how easy and well she settled. I am SO proud of my little girl, who has now taken her first step into the big world.
I managed to get my kitche floor mopped, washing pegged out, hoovered, and lunch for me and Jay. Then it was pick up time for Tash.
I really feel today has been such a turning point in my life.
I know that sounds dramatic, but taking my little girl to 'school' has been a real eye opener! I AM a mother, think it has taken me almost 3 years to realise it
Love Cherry xx
