Having had a throat infection last week and a rash, my little leper now has impetigo!

He seems fine in himself, does anyone know if he is likley to get poorly from it or will it just look unsightly until the Anti-Bs clear it up?

He shouldn't be poorly with it but just be so careful so as not to spread the infection to the rest of the family. Seperate towels, facecloths etc - it is sooooo infectious. Hope it clears up soon.

What noonoo said i used to suffer from this when i was a teenager from pickign spots. If ever i pick a spot now i get it and it looks awful.

Hope it clears up soon!! Try to not let him touch it, it spreads really easily. Easier said than done with a toddler i know.

SNAP!! again :teehee:

It would start off with a spot that was barely there, i'd pick it until it bled, even if no poison came out of it   then it would scab over because i'd dug such a HUGE hole in my face, then i'd pick that and eventually i'd ene up just looking like one big scab :sigh: luckily i don't seem to have any scars from it, as i think i stopped just in time! :cheer2:

Aaah poor Dan :-(

Dixie had impetigo back in January and it didn't seem to bother her at all, apart from having the DISGUSTING antibiotics :vom:

It took about a week I think to clear up, although the marks from it were there for a couple of weeks after that.
